I was asked if I’d consider making a quasi-period outfit for an online friend of mine. She has a wedding she’s attending and the wedding couple requested the guests wear costumes. Given that my friend is a fan of a historical tv program, she asked if I’d put together something that would work with the scarf/shawl she wanted to wear.
Not knowing which color my friend would prefer, I made the bodice reversible. This way she could decide which color better suited her and her accessories.
I’m hoping my friend has a grand time at the wedding. I know it was fun to step back into making reenacting clothing once more.
